The name “139” refers to Psalm 139 where David writes, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” We, at the Moody Church, firmly believe that God made us all wonderfully, and that those with disabilities show us God’s wonder in different ways that we would otherwise miss.

Elizabeth Wade
Elizabeth serves as the Director of Disability Ministries. She is a Liberty University graduate with a B.S. in Special Education and the goal of better sharing God’s story and the hope of the gospel with those of all abilities. She loves to incorporate her love of music, travel, literature, and games into an immersive learning experience.
