About Us

The Precept Bible Study Ministry at The Moody Church offers many learning and discipling opportunities for those who want to know and serve God in a deeper way. We firmly believe what the Bible says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16 NASB).

 

You do not need to be a member of The Moody Church to attend; all are warmly welcomed. We offer several Bible study classes during the week throughout the year. Not sure whether Precept Bible Studies are for you? Join us to see what we are all about, even though the session might have already started. Our classes are never limited in number or closed.

Tuesday Morning Classes for Women

Tuesdays beginning September 10, 9:30–11:30am in Room 108 & on Zoom

 

Led by Linda Gunter

 

John – See precisely what the Bible says about Jesus’s life and public ministry on earth.  Explore the meaning of these passages in the context of Scripture. Discover what truths you can apply to your personal life as you learn what Jesus and His disciples experienced in their relationships with God. Dig deep into the details of John 1-11 and discover how God ministered to His people at that time.

Saturday Morning Classes for Women

Saturdays beginning September 14, 10:15am–12:15pm in Room 112D & on Zoom

 

Led by Enosha Simmons

 

Daniel: Part 1 – Living out a Biblical worldview: In this in-depth study, we will work through a weekly lesson and gather for discussion and teaching on Saturday mornings, encouraging one another to press on to maturity in Jesus, as we explore themes of God’s sovereignty over all and all things, and living faithfully in challenging times.
