Hello Chorus Parents!
Hope you are enjoying this warmer weather. 🙂 I just wanted to check in and let you know of what is coming up for Children’s Chorus in these next few months.
We are singing in the morning services on April 14 and May 12. For both of these performances, we will wear what we wore for our November performance. Black on the bottom including black socks/tights and shoes and either white or blue on the top. We are evaluating whether or not we will continue with our red chorus shirts for the future and will finish out the season with this alternate dress code.
There will be a solo in “He Knows My Name,” which we will sing for Palm Sunday. I’ve already heard some kids try out, but if your child would like to try out, they can see me this week before or after rehearsal. I will also make an announcement in the rehearsal.
Don’t forget to mark May 5 on your calendar. We will have our end of the year family party from 1:15-2:15 in Sankey. We will provide the pizza and will ask you to bring either a salad, fruit or dessert. I will send out more information about that soon.
