Hello Moody Church Parents!
For those who don’t know me, my name is Elsa Wiese and I direct the Children’s Chorus at The Moody Church. Even though the choir had fun doing the virtual choir and singing for Palm Sunday last year, we are so excited to be resuming in person this fall. We’re hopeful that we will be able to gather together for regular rehearsals and performances and we will be doing our best to ensure the safety of the children and our team members.
In order to be a part of the choir this year, we need you to complete a registration process for any of your children in grades 1-5 who would like to join us. Follow the link below to register. You may have already received the same link from Michele Forrider, just be sure to indicate that your child(ren) will be participating in Children’s Chorus. We will be sending out more detailed information and access to our updated parent page once registration is complete. General Chorus Information/Schedule:
- We invite all kids in grades 1-5 to join us!
- Our fall season begins on Wednesday, September 15, and ends on Sunday, December 19 with a performance
- Regular Rehearsals – Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm (doors open at 5:15pm)
- Special Rehearsals – Select Sundays from 12:30-2:30pm (pizza lunch provided)
Music is such an important part of our lives and specifically our worship, so I am very excited for the opportunity to sing with the kids again and looking forward to a great year!
