From the Miller Family to yours, we want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
For our family, this is our first Christmas in our new home here in Chicago. Last year, you may remember, we were in a rental with much of our stuff still in storage. So, this year was especially moving for our family as we set up our very own tree, hung our family stockings, and arranged our own nativity. As we turned on Christmas music and decorated our home, we were surprised at how very emotional the moments were. After all these months, we felt we were, at long last, home.
I want to thank you for helping us have that experience of home here at The Moody Church. Your loving, warm and thoughtful friendship have welcomed us so well. You’ve embraced us and encouraged us. And we really do feel at home. You’ve become our family. Thank you for loving us well!
What a joy it has been to celebrate Christmas with you this year! From Advent to the Christmas Concert, the Children’s Chorus, and the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, this has been an unforgettably special season for us all. God has blessed us richly as we’ve celebrated this year!
And now, as we look ahead to 2022, may our Lord bless you and keep you in this New Year ahead!
