Dear Moody Church Family Member,
Did you know that The Moody Church began as a Sunday School for street children who weren’t welcome in the local churches, or anywhere else? Today, ministry to children continues to be one of our core missions. What a blessing to be able to love and care for children in His name for nearly 160 years!
Jesus in inviting us to grow in love through service, and caring for children is a wonderful opportunity for everyone—young and old, men and women, parents, singles, and couples—to make an eternal impact in the lives of the next generation. It’s also a fantastic way to get to know your church family! Jesus has a special place in His heart for children. So, I’d like to share a couple ways you can make an eternal investment through service to our kids.
TMC Kids is looking forward to our annual Summer Blast outreach from July 31 to August 3. We invite you to join our volunteer leadership team! Each year this is one of our church’s largest and most energetic events as we welcome hundreds of children to learn about Jesus and His love for them.
As you can imagine, many volunteers are needed to serve these children and share the life-changing message of the Gospel. We need help before, during, and after the event – there are opportunities for everyone to serve in roles that fit their gifting and schedule!
TMC Kids also needs new team members for our Sunday morning ministry. When you invest your time with TMC Kids, you influence young lives for Christ—and your life will change, too! Like Summer Blast, we have roles to fit everyone. Volunteers serve once a month during our Sunday morning ministries. And, we’re already looking ahead to September, when our Wednesday night Awana club begins again!
