As we’re learning in the book of Malachi, God desires, deserves, and demands our first and best. It’s the essence of the worship that is only proper and is due His name. God is worthy of our all—our time, our talent, our treasure—our everything.
That’s why growing in love through service is not just good for us, but glorifying to God. As we give ourselves away, we become people of love, more and more like our Father. And by our sacrificial service, we showcase that God is the One who is truly worthy of our lives.
As we head into the fall, it’s a great time to begin serving here at The Moody Church! We have all kinds of meaningful opportunities just waiting for you to say “yes.” When you do, I think you’ll discover that as you live beyond yourself, you actually get yourself back. You will become more and more like your Heavenly Father, who gives Himself away in sacrificial love. And you will discover the wonder of a worship-filled life as you serve your Great King in adoration.
So let’s serve it up! Because we are loved, more than we know!
