Hello!
We have been having a great time in Children’s Choir this year. The kids are learning about breathing, singing as if they were one voice, and doing our best to communicate the message of the song with our faces and our expression of the lyrics. We’re excited to sing in the morning service coming up on March 24. Please see below for some important information as we prepare for the service.
- Please let us know if your child(ren) will not be present on Sunday, March 24. This REALLY helps us plan and not to worry about your child if they are gone.
- We will still have rehearsal this Wednesday, March 20 even though there is no AWANA. This rehearsal is an important step in our preparation so please try to to make this a priority.
- Choir members should wear white on top and black on the bottom. Girls can wear skirts with tights or pants, boys should wear dress pants and everyone should wear at least short sleeves or longer and black dress shoes.
- Our call time will be at 8:30am on Sunday morning, March 24. Please make sure your choir member has had a good breakfast. 🙂
- The choir members will be with us from 8:30 until after they sing. You will pick them up from Kappeler Hall (out the northwest doors of the Sanctuary and down the stairs) after they sing.
- We will provide a snack for the choir after they sing. We are asking 4 parents to bring 30 servings of either fruit snacks or cheese sticks. Please let me know if you are able to pick up a snack for the choir.
