I’m writing today from the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Dallas. Our Moody Church Media team has been hard at work connecting with our radio ministry partners who amplify Songs in the Night, Running to Win, and Moody Church Hour to thousands of listeners on hundreds of stations spanning across the nation and around the world. I’m so grateful for these deep Gospel partnerships that allow us to share God’s Word so widely.
Radio, while far from a new technology, is an enduring one that brings Gospel truth up close for many people. In cars, bedrooms, backyards, and even hard to reach global places, radio brings God’s eternal hope to where people are. It brings the Good News to the lost, reminds believers who they are in Christ, where they’re headed in glory, and how to walk worthy of the Gospel in the present.
Radio is deep in our DNA as a church. We’ve been broadcasting since the mid-1920s. It’s a honor to spend this week with Pastor Lutzer as we continue advancing that legacy together. I’m deeply encouraged by the impactful ministry we’re part of, and the robust opportunities that lie ahead. God is on the move through our media ministry. It’s just another example of how we’re loved, more than we know!
Thank you so much for letting me know along with others, Pastor Phil! I just love Pastor Lutzer’s sermons as well as yours.
