Dear Moody Church Family Member,
As the calendar turns to August and the end of our fiscal year, we are looking forward to the beginning of another new ministry year!
Our Sunday ministries will be resuming on August 25th, and we are planning a fun Back to Church event that day which will enable connections with each other and ministry opportunities – along with food and games! We hope you’ll join us and feed your soul through Community.
As we enter what promises to be a tumultuous fall, what better place to focus our time, energy, and resources than on the Kingdom that will never fail and where we will spend eternity? Together we can shine the light of the Gospel – the source of our hope and joy – to our neighbors and our city!
As the fiscal year closes, I want to thank you again for the increase in giving we have seen this year. However, our higher giving levels have not kept up with the increased expenses the church faces (details are in the bulletin). We have rigorously and prayerfully considered our ministry plans and we are excited about what the Lord will do in the year ahead. We can only do this with your help. Would you prayerfully consider a special fiscal year-end gift?
