Pastor Eric Targe
Eric and his best friend, Rebecca, have two children and are raising their family in the South Loop of Chicago. Eric joined the staff of The Moody Church in 2013. He leads the College (Crossroads) and Disability (139) Ministries. He is also an adjunct faculty member of Moody Bible Institute. Eric is passionate about seeing people come to faith in Christ and grow in the use of their spiritual gifts; he loves finding creative ways to engage people for the purpose of building God’s Kingdom.
Claire Vanderhart
Claire joined the staff as the Director of Women’s Ministries in January of 2022 after eight years of working as a medical nurse. She has served in Communities and Small Groups at The Moody Church since 2015, and she is excited to expand her role in working with the women in our church. Claire’s desire is for every woman at The Moody Church to experience the abundant life that comes through a meaningful relationship with Christ.
Kaitlyn Wisniewski
Kaitlyn joined the Moody Church staff in August 2017 as the assistant for Global Outreach, Local Outreach, and Compassion ministries. She is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute where she studied Bible and ministry. An Illinois native, Kaitlyn has a deep love for the local church. She is grateful to be serving alongside her husband Corbin in various ministries, and in their free time, the Wisniewskis enjoy playing board games, hosting friends and family, and reading books.
Liz Wade
Liz has had the privilege of serving special needs families at The Moody Church, throughout Chicagoland, and even internationally for the past 10 years. She is currently studying Special Education and Missiology at Liberty University with the goal of better sharing God’s story with those of all abilities. A few of her favorite things are music, travel, literature, and playing card games with family and friends.
Pastor Justin May
Justin and his wife, Charlye, began attending the Moody church in 2008 after moving to Chicago from Colorado where they both grew up. Justin loves the church and the people of God, and finds great joy in teaching young people about Christ as He is revealed in the scriptures. Justin enjoys all things nerdy, good theology, weightlifting, and spending time with his 3 kids: Peter, Phelan, and Dot. He received his B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary.
