Hello,
We had a wonderful morning yesterday! Thanks so much to the kids for singing with joy and energy, thanks to those who brought snacks and the many more who offered, and thanks to all the parents for getting the kids to church early on a special morning! I hope it didn’t upset too many breakfasts in bed. ?
If the kids loved the song we sang on Sunday, you can enjoy it and many others like it from Slugs and Bugs. They have 4 CD’s of songs using only Scripture and I love them all! The song we sang is on Sing The Bible 2 and the Family Christmas CD is also really fun with a nod toward Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” You’ll see other things like t-shirts, coloring pages, and lots more fun kids music, too.
One more quick item: if you happen to still have a red shirt in a closet or drawer, would you please bring that back to church when you can. We will be evaluating our shirts/uniforms for next year and need to have an accurate count.
It’s been a great year of learning and praising the Lord together. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing many of you again this fall. We will start Children’s Chorus again on September 11. I’ll send a reminder once we get close!
