Hello Chorus Parents,
What a wonderful day we had yesterday, please tell your kids that I am so proud of them! Seriously, they worked so hard and it all came together well! Thank YOU for getting them to rehearsal each week, especially those extra rehearsals, and for all the hours you spent listening to the music and watching the choreography. I hope it was all worth it in the end. (;
We have had so many encouraging comments about how great the kids were and how deeply touched the congregation was by their message. A big thank you too, to Pastor Bob for his short but powerful message – it was exactly what needed to be said and the gospel was presented very clearly. I’m looking forward to hearing stories in the years to come about how the kids remember this musical and perhaps even how their friends or family members thought about a relationship with Christ for the first time. Pastor Bill’s prayer for the kids echoes the reason for this ministry – so that the kids may come to know and love Jesus with their whole heart.
Some may be wondering about DVD recordings of the musical. We’ll have them available at rehearsal on January 8. Each family will get one copy for free and you can get additional copies for $1 each. For now, you can view it from The Moody Church Facebook page.
