Hello!
We had great rehearsals this week for the Children’s Chorus! We’re well on our way with the choreography and getting everything in order for our Sunday, November 10 service. On the schedule you can see a rehearsal listed for this Sunday, October 27, however we will not have a full choir rehearsal. So, for most families, that rehearsal is canceled. We will still have a rehearsal for students with larger speaking roles (listed below) from 12:30-2:30 p.m. starting in Christiansen. We will serve pizza for lunch.
For anyone who missed last Sunday or who just want some more rehearsal, the choreography videos are linked on the Christmas Musical page for you to practice with. Don’t forget the password is sing. Also, if your family would prefer to have a CD of the music to practice with instead of just the downloadable version, you can check out a CD during our Wednesday rehearsals.
A quick note about singing in the service on Sunday, November 10. We will meet at 8:30 a.m. for rehearsal and the choir members should wear white on the top and black on the bottom. We are going for a more dressy look, so please no sweatpants or T-shirts.
