I hope you have had a great couple of weeks! We are excited about many things that are coming up for Children’s Choir.
First, we are having our family party THIS Sunday, May 1 from 1-2:30pm. I’ve sent out an evite and I apologize that many of you may have just gotten it today for the first time. My email list was incomplete but I think everyone has been invited now. Would you take a minute to reply if you haven’t yet? You can even select “Maybe,” we just would love to know what your intentions are. You can find the invitation in your email or use this link to reply: http://evite.me/4B74TbVR6r. We’re ordering pizza and hoping that you could bring something to share according to the scheme below.
– Last names A-H bring salad/veggies
– Last names I-Q bring fruit
– Last names R-Z bring dessert
Second, we are singing on Sunday morning, May 8. We have been learning the song since before Palm Sunday but we’ve added some fun new things. If you’re child has not been able to attend at least 1 rehearsal since Palm Sunday (including the upcoming rehearsal on May 4) they may not be ready to sing with us. Please let me know if your child will NOT be singing on May 8 and feel free to reach out with any other questions or clarifications about whether your child is ready. Our song is on the Listening Links page, so feel free to practice and/or check for familiarity. We will wear white on top and black on bottom like we did for Palm Sunday.
I’ll have more information regarding May 8 next week but we are looking forward to seeing many of you on Sunday!
