Care40 starts this Wednesday, and it’s not too late to get in on the action!
One of the most powerful things we can do during this pandemic is to extend care to those around us. Not only will it minister to others in meaningful ways, but I pray that it helps us refocus our hearts and minds on what really matters. I’ve found that one of the best ways out of a funk is to serve others with simple acts of loving kindness.
This Wednesday we kick off our Care40 campaign to share and show the love of Jesus to Chicago over the 40 days leading up to Easter. Each day we’ll choose specific ways to extend care to our family, friends, and neighbors in the name of Jesus. Imagine what God might do in and through us if we intentionally get out of our comfort zone over the next 40 days and extend simple daily acts of care to others? Those “little things” might just make all the difference.
We’re really excited about this church-wide initiative and hope you’ll be a part of it! Won’t you join us for Care40? You can sign up to participate on our website.
You are loved, more than you know!
