The Journey of a Lifetime is more than a sermon series, it’s what it means to follow Jesus here at The Moody Church. It’s our discipleship pathway that connects all our ministry efforts to each of our individual journeys.
When someone walks through our doors, they are already on a spiritual journey. We have the privilege of sharing: Jesus is inviting you on The Journey of a Lifetime to know God, feed your soul, grow in love, and change your world. And if you’re ready to get started, we’re here to help!
You’ll notice that each step of the journey connects with the major muscle groups of our ministries. We know God primarily through worship, as we gather each Sunday in the Sanctuary. We feed our souls primarily through community, as we dig into God’s word with one another in our Communities. We grow in love primarily through service, as we give ourselves away in love for our church family. And we change our world primarily through mission, as we join Jesus in the work He’s doing in our world.
The Journey of a Lifetime connects the dots, coordinates our efforts, and gets us all pulling in the same direction. It’s fresh language for the ancient call of following Jesus. All that to say, this is more than a sermon series, it’s our way of describing what it means to follow Jesus here at The Moody Church.
