Hello Parents,
We are having such a great time singing together on Wednesday evenings! I’m so grateful for your encouragement and support as you bring your kids and help them be prepared each week. We have a couple big weeks ahead with Christmas Musical preparation. All the information you need is below and on our Parent Page in our Updates section.
Choreography Rehearsals
We will be having choreography rehearsals from 12:30-2:30 for the next two Sundays. Please RSVP either way for the 24th and the 31st using this link. We will provide pizza for the kids right at 12:30 in the choir room and then head to the Sanctuary around 12:50 to begin learning choreography. You can pick up your children from the Sanctuary at 2:30.
Large Speaking Roles Rehearsals
Kids with large speaking roles will have an extended rehearsal on the 24th and 31st from 2:30-3:30pm. Please be sure to send them with their scripts and they can be picked up at 3:30 from the Sanctuary.
Listening CD’s
Just a reminder that the listening CD’s for the musical are available at our welcome table for a $10 deposit. You will receive the deposit back when you return the CD. The deposit helps to ensure that we are able to provide listening CD’s each year for every family. You can also download the listening CD from our shared Google Drive available on our Christmas Musical webpage. The password is sing.
Listening to the Christmas Musical At Home
While we are working hard each week to learn the music we need your help at home! If the kids are able to hear the music more than just once a week at choir, we can make leaps and bounds toward their memorization and a great presentation of this true and meaningful story. Please try to listen to the following songs at least twice before our Choreography rehearsal.

Date Correction
I apologize that I listed an incorrect date for the Christmas musical performance in an earlier communication. The correct date for the performance is Sunday, December 19 during the morning service. There will be a rehearsal on Saturday, the 18th from 9:30am-12:30pm and a rehearsal at 8:30am for kids with large speaking roles.
